Students and Parents Encouraged to Attend College Fair on Tuition Assistance

Atlanta, GA--  Councilman Aaron Watson and School Board member, Yolanda Johnson have teamed up with The Scholarship Academy in an effort to help Atlanta students and parents secure funding for college.  The "I am College Material" Fair will take place on Wednesday 11/17 from 4pm-8pm at the Atrium in Atlanta City Hall.

The Federal Pell Grant and Georgia HOPE are both facing major shortages in the coming years, and the councilman want families to start planning now for their educational futures.

The Scholarship Academy is a local nonprofit scholarship preparatory program that has launched this "I am College Material" Scholarship Fair.

The event will introduce “average students” to the private scholarship application process.
