Register for the Forsyth County Technology Fair, Held on Saturday 1/29 | Schools

Registration and Fees:

All students in grades 3-12 who are schooled within Forsyth County may participate in the Fair. This includes all public, private and home schooled students. Grade level divisions are as follows:

• Grades 3-4
• Grades 5-6
• Grades 7-8
• Grades 9-10
• Grades 11-12
• Note: Multimedia category divisions are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
• Note: Hardware category divisions are 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12 ONLY
• Note: Programming Challenge category divisions are 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12 ONLY

Students register by their current grade level. There is no separate team competition. You may have up to 2 people on a team but teams and individuals will compete against each other within each grade grouping.

Projects for each category must be unique and cannot be entered in more than one category. Students may enter only one project, and may additionally enter the Technology Literacy Challenge and the Programming Challenge. See the Projects Page for more information on this.

Registration for all students must be completed on-line through the fair website after registration opens in the fall. Mailed registration forms will not be accepted. The non-refundable registration fee for each student is $10. If a team submits an entry, each team member must pay the $10 fee.
