During the school year, young author Sarah Voskamp who believes that “You don’t have to be big to do big things,” is a sought-after speaker in elementary schools throughout North Georgia and Ontario, Canada. Since her book, Filly Girls, was first published in December of 2010, Voskamp’s popularity among seven to twelve year olds has steadily grown. Now Voskamp will be making an appearance and signing and selling her book at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at The Avenue in Cumming on Tuesday, July 26th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The book is about three horseback-riding best friends who learn what it takes to go after their dreams and then live with the outcome, even though it might not be what they expected.
