CUMMING, Ga. -- A special race to benefit people with autism will be held in Forsyth County on Labor Day.

The Labor Day 10K will raise money for Talk About Curing Autism, a national 501(c)(3) that provides resources and support to families touched by autism.

It will be held Monday, Sept. 2 at Totally Running in Cumming. Packet pickup starts at 6 a.m., with the 10K and its accompanying 5K scheduled to be off and running at 7:30 a.m.

Registration is $40 for the 10K and $30 for the 5K through Tuesday, Aug. 20. Sign up no later than that date to be guaranteed a T-shirt. After Aug. 20, the fee goes up to $45 for the 10K and $35 for the 5K.
