Sisters 'let it go' for snow day that doesn't happen

CUMMING, Ga. -- Kathy White David was working from home and was thrilled that her 9- and 14-year-old daughters were playing so well together.

Like most mothers who experience those rare moments of peace and quiet, she kept working, unaware that her girls were putting together a video about the snow storm that didn't turn out the way they had hoped.

Hannah and her big sister Meaghan shot and edited the video themselves, and then they showed it to Mom. In the video, the girls see the news about possible snow on the way, so they quickly get into their outfits from the movie Frozen, with Hannah dressed as Elsa and Meaghan dressed as Anna. They run out their front door to greet the snow, but there isn't any.

Their disappointment was shared by many kids across metro Atlanta. Their mom says the girls were still pretty happy because school was closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
