ATLANTA, Ga. -- Overnight roadwork will begin on State Route 400 northbound at McFarland Parkway.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the project will extend the third lane northbound from north of McGinnis Ferry Road to the Big Creek Greenway Bridge, giving commuters two new miles of roadway in Forsyth County.
The roadwork will begin on Wednesday night around 8 p.m. and will continue for about two weeks.
DOT officials say, the project is only for northbound work, no work will occur on SR 400 southbound.
