CUMMING, Ga. -- Forsyth County Sheriff's Office investigators arrested Pedro Castro Garcia on Monday afternoon at his home.

Garcia, 29, of Highway 9 North in Alpharetta, was charged with theft by receiving stolen property in connection with the stolen eagle sculpture from the Big Creek Greenwaw.

Around noon when the arrest was made, Cargia was still being booked into the Forsyth County Detention Center.

The eagle sculpture was found on September 12 in a storage shed at Garcia's home. The statue was in good condition and returned to the Forsyth County Parks and Recreation on Friday.

The sculpture was reported stolen from the Big Creek Greenway trailhead of Bethelview Road in south Forsyth County on August 28.
