Hiker rescued after fall at Amicalola State Park | News
AMICALOLA FALLS, Ga. -- Crews rescued a man who fell over the falls at Amicalola State Park.
According to authorities, it happened earlier this afternoon. The 22-year-old apparently took a 25 foot tumble while he was hiking with a friend.
Officials say the man has suffered multiple fractures to his lower body.
Dawson County Rescue crews airlifted to man to Grady Memorial Hospital. The condition of the man is unknown at this time.
