FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – A Forsyth County Sheriff''s deputy's anonymous act of kindness is going viral.

A woman wrote a post to the sheriff's office trying to find a deputy who helped her in a time of need at a gas station. The woman wrote that she's pregnant and living paycheck to paycheck.

The woman said she was on the phone with her fiancée, talking about how she needed to put enough gas in her tank to get home. A Forsyth County deputy paid for her gas and left before she could thank him.

The sheriff's office said it located the deputy, and that he wished to remain anonymous.

"She just seemed like she needed some help. It was the right thing to do," the deputy is quoted as saying.

The post on Forsyth County Sheriff's Office has been liked more than 2,000 times.
