CUMMING, Ga. (WXIA) -- The search for a missing boy that led to an Amber Alert has ended after the boy was found safe and his mother was arrested.

On Saturday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a Levi's Call, Georgia's Amber Alert, for 6-year-old Travor Cargle from Forsyth County, suspected to have been taken by his non-custodial mother, Amber Fisher.

A spokesman for the sheriff's office said Trevor was reported missing by court officials when he and Fisher did not show up at a scheduled court appearance.

Around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, a family member told authorities that Fisher had dropped the child off at their residence. Trevor was taken into DFCS custody.

Fisher later turned herself in to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office on a charge of contempt of court.
