Georgia Inventor from Cumming to exhibit at America's largest invention show

Cumming, GA --  Lamar Sexton, from Cumming, Georgia is one step closer to realizing his dream and launching a great new product.  The Cumming man has invented a collapsible clothes rack that is designed to be easily stored and quickly set up. 

This invention will be exhibited at INPEXâ 2011, June 14-17, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, America’s Largest Invention Trade Show.

“Six Way Portable Clothes Rack” provides a convenient place to hang clothes for individuals with limited closet space.  It is portable, lightweight and collapsible design allows for the unit to be conveniently stored as well as assembled in minutes.  The rack requires no tools for assembly.

Lamar Sexton was inspired to think of his invention because of his friends and family.  “My friends and family were always looking for something to hang their clothes on for storage or yard sales,” said Sexton.  “I invented the Six Way Port

There’s a new way to help those in need within our community and the organization is making it very easy to jump in and get involved.

Nationally, the demand at food banks is up over 30%.  The demand for food at our local pantries has increased over 100%.  At the same time, the supply of low-cost food and food donations are dwindling.*

The Food for Thought Project, launched in April 2011, by two local families and foster families in Cumming GA, is a community based, ongoing door to door food drive. They currently serve Cumming & Forsyth County.

Youth Leadership Forsyth is currently accepting applications for the class of 2012.  Rising Juniors from all Forsyth County Schools (public, private, home school) are eligible to apply.

The purpose of Youth Leadership Forsyth is to provide students with leadership training for a greater understanding of public decisions and opportunities for community involvement. It is a great opportunity for students from different schools to meet others across the county to develop a mutual trust & respect.

An Atlanta's Music icon called Don Juan R. Ramírez-Hernández

Mexican Music composer Juan R. Ramírez-Hernández is an icon in the classical music and especially in Atlanta where he is a  violinist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, founder of the Atlanta Virtuosi Foundation, Inc. and the Buckhead Youth Orchestra, and conductor of the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra, began his study of music in Mexico. At age 14, he began studying with Henryk Szeryng, and continued as Szeryng became his principal mentor in Mexico, the U.S. and Europe.

ACWORTH, Ga. -- Professional wakeboarders will be traveling from all over the world to meet in Acworth for the first stop of the 2011 MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour.

But for some of them, this event is just a few highway exits from home.

ATLANTA, GA May 17, 2011 – Morgan Stanley Smith Barney announced today that Ronald Hart, a managing director of the Hart Group in the Firm’s Atlanta office, has been named to Barron’s annual list of America’s Top 100 Financial Advisors.

The “Barron’s Top 100 Financial Advisors” is a select group of individuals who are screened on a number of criteria. Among factors the survey takes into consideration are assets under management, revenue produced for the Firm and quality of service provided to clients. Investment performance is not an explicit criterion.
