FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – Police are searching for suspects involved in the robbery of a Walmart in Forsyth County.
According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, just before 11 p.m. on Wednesday, a man wearing a surgical mask and carrying a black semi-automatic handgun went into the Walmart located at 2395 Peachtree Parkway and demanded that cashiers empty their registers.
During the robbery, the suspect fired his gun into the floor and then left.
The man was seen getting into a black sedan – possibly a Toyota – driven by a woman. Police say another woman was seen in the store acting as a possible lookout before the robbery. She left the store after the crime in a black sedan.
Authorities say the suspects match similar incidents at other Walmart stores in Georgia.
